the following is an exerpt from an article on le tigre in the november 2004 edition of chicago innerview

so take that. I told you he was a man. if you don't belive me you can come see me perform at the chopin theater on thursday, they have copies of the article there and you can meet the woman who used to know kathleen hannah. I definately don't expect you guys to come because its mime and its stupid, but if your interested thursday night is the only night i can comp you, otherwise its $25 dollars. so if your interested give me a ring asap

| - Friday was fucking awsome. I had so much fun.
the opening band was good, although no one else seems to think so. I mean come on, the lead singer was playing a cow bell, how much cooler can you get?
Le tigre was amazing. I just want to know how JD does that to his voice.
Because I couldn't see I stood on this ledge thing and held on to a railing for le tigre. there was this cool college girl standing behind me who thought I looked familiar, I thaught she was familiar too. I never figured out who she was but she was definitely hitting on me. oh, and I actually danced, I think that it helped that I got seperated from the people i came with because then I wasn't thinking about what I was doing and how silly i probably looked.
but again fucking amazing. This was just too cool. Sadie said it was probably a bad 1st concert because I won't see something so good for a long time, but I don't care.

| wow this weekend was a whirlwind.
lets see friday was circus rehursals until 10 and then poltergiest w/ claire
saturday was amazing. I was performing all day at the cultural center. 8:30-4:30 (including warm up and tear down)
from backstage you could see millenium park and at one point there were like 20 people in gorilla costumes parading down the street acting, well, like gorillas it was hillarious. Performing went well for the most part, got a burn in the last performance and forgot part of my routine in the 2nd one. it was tons of fun though. one of the younger girls had a camera phone and took a picture of me doing my routine when I'me doing this upside down split thing and made it her backround, her friend made the title "vagina" it was kinda creepy but meridith is awsome so it doesn't matter. yay for meagan who wanted to come. And a speacial thank you to grahm and claire for coming to see me, you made my day. You can't imagine how unbelivebly happy I was when I saw that you were there.
lets see, sunday - half ass pumpkin carving, homework, weird ass mime rehursal and people telling me I weigh too much; I put my costume together at the last minute, I was a witch and I looked absolutely amazing, It was the 1st tiem in a long time that I thought I looked hot and cute, I wished I had a party to go to. ( I would definately post pictures but that would be conceited) Then trick or treating with claire, so much fun. we ran into tully and our old computer teacher jannean. it was a really slow holloween, and a lot of people were really drunk.
wow, this week looks as if it will turn out the same

thursday - my dad won 4 VIP passes to the donnas, so if anybody is interested give me a call, I know there not the greatest but hey, free tickets
